Autodesk Release 3ds Max Creativity Extensions

Autodesk have now released the latest 3DS Max 2009 and 3DS Max Design 2009 Extension called The Creativity Extension.

Some key benefits of using this update are:

• Polygon Modelling:  ProOptimizer allows artist to optimise high polygon count 3D models quickly and intelligently
• Advanced Particle Effects:  Pflow/Advanced Technology produces faster performance, improved memory management and streamlined workflow
• Integrated Audio:  ProSound technology allows users to integrate up to 100 audio tracks directly into a scene.  Objects inside a scene such as fountains or doors can be assigned sounds.

Customers currently on a subscription will be able to download the extension free of charge by logging on to the Subscription Centre.

3ds Max 2009 Vs 3DS Max Design 2009

3DS Max Design 2009 software is essentially a customized installation of Autodesk 3DS Max 2009 software, the result of which is an optimized user experience for architects, designers, engineers and visualisation specialists. 

3DS Max Design 2009 has the same functionality as 3DS Max 2009, with the addition of the new Exposure Lighting Analysis technology. 

Other differences between the two products include user interface and application defaults, tutorials, sample files and product websites.
